So you send your time researching site that are in your theme, basically your competitors. You send them a nice email, you spend time setting up a relationship. You hook up; things are great for about a few months, then BAM. Bye Bye link, Bye Bye any PR gained from that link. Better yet, your link is now linking to a Porn site or gambling site since your nice Link exchange with "DallasNEWS.info" is now a link to News about a porn Star named Dallas.

But seriously, yeah right,

Link exchange brokers are the used car salesmen of the SEO industry.

SEO Directories are a dime a dozen and some asked you for your dimes with no proven results.

You write articles for links, and then the URL is striped, so no link and the other Webmaster gets free fresh content.

Link exchange just plain SUCKS. SEO-Sucks Even!
